The company previous named Albano de Oliveira' was founded in the decade of 50 by the noble citizen Mr. Albano Freitas da Silva Oliveira in order to develop in his individual name several commercial activities on the field of building industry, livestock and shipping, among many others. Mr. Oliveira was also one of the founders of local Air Company SATA.


The company is now a privately owned company named Albano de Oliveira Sucessor Lda that was formed in 1989 by Mr. Jose Maria Fortuna Raposo and wife Mrs. Maria Emilia P.A. Fortuna Raposo being now a familiar company and has since grown into a strong, reputable and respected company that now represents a number of recognized Shipping and Insurance interests from all over the World.


Albano de Oliveira Sucessor Lda also known as ALBANO AGENCY is representing a number of recognized National and International Organisations, Companies, Ship Owners/Managers/Operators, P+I Clubs, among many others and is duly staffed and supported by competent personnel prepared to act on the best interests of our Applicants.


Our dynamic company is registered in Ponta Delgada Conservatory and allowed to develop its activities as ShipsAgency, Surveyors and Commercial representation.
